The College has an excellent Library and Information Center, one of the central support services of the institution, which acts as a primary source for information seekers, be it students, faculty or researchers.

The fully airconditioned library has been carefully designed to maximise natural lighting to the users and provide a comfortable seating and reading environment. The library is well equipped with modem facilities and resources in the form of CD-ROMs online database, video cassettes, books, journals, back volumes of journals, theses, WHO publications-journals and E-books. It has membership with leading Information Centers including Health Sciences Library Networks, “HELINET.”

The Current Awareness Service, Selective Dissemination of information services and EPAC (Electronic Public Access Catalogue) services are the special features of our Information Center. The Central Library also provides its service to the user community through seven well equipped Departmental Libraries and two Hostel Libraries. (One Girls Hostel Library and the other boys Hostel Library

The institute has two well furnished seminar halls. Each hall is equipped with state-of-the-art audio visual equipment like Slide and Film Projectors, OHP's, Video Projectors and Cameras, TV's, VCR's, LCD, built-in Audio Systems, pull down screens and public address systems with Cordless Microphones.

Regular guest lectures by dignitaries from India and abroad are conducted. Personality development and Communication skills workshop are organised regularly. We belive in overall development of our candidates.

The Cyber Centre is part of the Al-Ameen Campus. All the students will undergo a familiarization course of accessing the internet, after which the entire world of Information will be on their fingertips. Al-Ameen is one of those very few institutions offering the essential research tool.

Vision: Humane care for experimental animals as per the standard guidelines.
Mission: To provide animals for biomedical research or testing which has specific aims to advance practical aspects of new drug discovery and disease management.

The College has a CPCSEA recognized (Reg. No. 83/1999/ CPCSEA) central animal house facility. The animals are housed as per the standard guidelines. Restricted entry is maintained with access control system and monitored by CC TV camera.

The maintenance condition of our animal house has gained it the status of ‘standard animal house' which has attracted many top pharmaceutical industries and institutions to carry out their research projects using our animal house facilities. Well-equipped animal experimentation laboratories are situated adjacent to the animal house. Experiments on mice, rats, rabbits and Guinea pigs are routinely carried out with a prior approval from the Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC). The Committee comprises of eminent scientists and veterinarians along with a nominated member from the CPCSEA.

The Committee members meet twice in a year and strictly monitor the need and necessity of the animal experiments

The New Boys Hostel of the College is conveniently located in the heart of the city & close to the College, with all modern facilities and dedicated staff.

The hostel has been designed not only to make the stay of the students comfortable, but also to make them feel at home, to boost their morale & to encourage them to study.

The hostel mess has an ultra modern kitchen with state-of-the-art equipments to prepare the food hygienically & a beautiful dining hall. A library with adequate number of books and journals, attracts & encourages the students to study more. Power cut? No problem!!

The hostel has been provided with a full generator backup. Students can spend their free time either by playing indoor games in the recreation room or by watching their favourite T V programmes in the common room. Every student has been provided with a broad band internet connection & every room has a telephone to receive the calls directly. A prayer room & a pooja room have been provided to boost the morale of the students. In all, The New Boys Hostel of Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy is a "sweet home away from home"!!!
