Counseling means ‘Providing advice, support and
consultation' and the Counseling Cell of the College is
geared to provide it to the students.
College students face important and often difficult
decisions. Counselors are available to provide the support
necessary for students to achieve success on their lifelong
learning journey.
Students can be assured of a
confidential setting in which to explore their concerns,
educational goals, interests or any other problems.
Counselors assist students in developing personal skills
for success.
Counselors are listeners for those who are
struggling and voices for those who confide their learning
hurdles. Counselors are also available to provide crisis
intervention and professional referrals to students.
Each teacher is allotted 20 students. Interaction with the
students and use of questionnaires are the most potent
methods for counseling.
